LEADERSHIP CAMPAIGN FOR EQUAL JUSTICE

“and Justice For all” is proud of our partnership with Utah’s law firms. The Leadership Campaign for Equal Justice is our annual law firm initiative spearheaded by the AJFA Leadership Committee—a group of amazing attorneys, representing law firms and in-house legal departments across Utah.

We invite your firm to be a part of this legacy. By contributing the equivalent of just 2 billable hours per attorney, your firm will play a crucial role in supporting civil legal aid programs that help vulnerable Utahns access justice.

Provide people in need with a lifeline during a time of crisis
Unlike criminal cases, the Constitution does not guarantee legal assistance in civil cases. Legal aid is a powerful tool to prevent homelessness, eviction, poverty, and injustice. Without help, many Utahns are forced to navigate complex legal issues on their own. As a result, many lose their families, homes, or livelihoods.

Fulfill professional responsibilities
Your contribution can help attorneys at your firm meet all or a portion of their obligations under Rule 6.1 of the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct. Your participation not only supports the community but also fulfills your professional duty to provide legal services to those in need.

Strengthen Utah’s justice system
Supporting “and Justice for all” goes beyond fulfilling pro bono requirements—it helps ensure that Utah’s justice system is equitable and accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. By working together with AJFA, your firm aligns with courts, bar leadership, and other key stakeholders to uphold fairness and justice for all.

• Your firm will be recognized on our dedicated webpage. Those giving $500 or more per attorney will receive premium placement, including their logo and a link to their firm’s website on both the campaign page and the AJFA homepage.
• Your firm will be included in a thank you ad in Utah Business Magazine. Firms contributing $500 or more per attorney will have their logo included.
• Your firm will be acknowledged at the Justice Rising Breakfast (both for your 2024 donation and for 2025 pledges), our flagship event with over 450 legal professionals in attendance.
• We will spotlight your firm in our annual report, eblast list, and across our social media channels reaching a broad network of professionals, stakeholders, and potential clients

By supporting “and Justice for all”, your firm will be partnering with the leading civil legal aid organizations in Utah—Utah Legal Services, Disability Law Center, and Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake—to help thousands of Utahns secure safety from violence, fair treatment, education, housing, and health care. Your firm’s participation will empower more families to overcome legal challenges, improving lives and strengthening the broader Utah community.
